1. Service and eligibility

CubeLens recognizes a 3×3 cube using your iPhone camera, accepts manually entered colors, provides an interactive virtual cube, calculates solutions, and explains moves in 3D. Recognition and solving run on your iPhone. There is no app account, registration or sign-in.

2. Free use and Pro

Free use is limited by two local successful-use counters: scans (a) and non-empty solutions (b). Once either counter reaches 2, further scans or solutions require Pro. For example, one successful scan and solution sets a=1,b=1; a second scan sets a=2, and solving then requires Pro. Failed/cancelled scans, failed solutions, zero-move results and replaying an existing solution do not count. Counters are stored only in local app data. Deleting the app resets them; normal updates, restarts and offloading while keeping app data do not. Old Keychain counters are discarded when switching to local storage. This does not cancel or reset an Apple subscription. Five sections, including notation and four beginner lessons, are free; Pro unlocks all lessons, unlimited scans and unlimited solutions.

3. Auto-renewable subscriptions

CubeLens Pro is offered weekly, monthly and yearly. All plans provide the same Pro benefits. Actual regional price, currency and duration are shown in the app and Apple's purchase sheet before confirmation.
The weekly plan offers a 3-day introductory free trial to eligible customers. Eligibility is determined by Apple. After the trial it renews at the displayed weekly price. Monthly and yearly plans have no introductory trial.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account at purchase confirmation or when the free trial ends. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Renewal is charged within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Manage or cancel at Apple Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Restore Purchases in the subscription screen restores an eligible Apple subscription without a CubeLens account.
Apple handles refund requests at Report a Problem. Unused introductory trial time is forfeited when a subscription is purchased, where applicable.

4. Acceptable use and intellectual property

Use the app lawfully for personal use. Do not disrupt the service, forge purchase verification or circumvent access controls. The app and its content belong to us or their respective licensors. Open-source notices are provided in the app. Rubik’s Cube is a trademark of its owner; CubeLens is not affiliated with or endorsed by it.

5. Reliability and liability

Camera recognition may be inaccurate with poor lighting, hidden stickers or unusual cube colors. Check the recognized state before following a solution. Solutions are not guaranteed to be the shortest. The service is provided as available. To the extent allowed by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect losses; mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

6. Apple license, changes and disputes

Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies. These service terms supplement it; mandatory law and Apple's applicable license requirements prevail. We may update these terms with a new date. Applicable law is the law of the People's Republic of China, subject to mandatory consumer protections. Disputes should first be raised through support, then the competent court at the operator's location where legally permitted.
